The head belongs to a clay figurine of a woman and was found during excavations on the Acropolis.
The woman has an oval face, large eyes and pronounced eyelids. The corners of her lips curve lightly upwards. Her hair is parted in the middle over her forehead and then gathered in a mitra. Traces of white slip are preserved on the figurine’s surface.
